It was built from 1921 to 1925. It is also known as CBC Bank (former), CBC Bank, NAB Bank and Barrack House. The property is owned by the New South Wales Government-owned superannuation fund. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. As of December 2018 the building is occupied by Burberry.
