The Jefferson Hotel is a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. On site is "Lemaire," a AAA "Four Diamond" restaurant, named after Etienne Lemaire, who served as maitre d'hotel to Thomas Jefferson from 1794 through the end of his presidency.
